MyCustomBakes (My Custom Bakes) is a one-plan order manager for US bakers who quote most orders. Confita is a storefront that checks out everyday products instantly and keeps custom work, deposits and drops in the same shop.
you sell in the US and want the order manager to do everything.
You sell in the United States and take cards through Square.
You want to approve every request as a quote, with chat and payment reminders around it.
Shipping, packing slips and a production planner belong in the same plan.
Built to sell
Choose Confita if…
the storefront is what sells.
Everyday products should check out without a quote, and custom work should collect its details first.
You sell in Spanish, outside the US, or want Stripe as well as Square.
You want a shop that looks like your brand, for US$49/year.

MyCustomBakes may be the better fit when the order manager is the center. Confita is the fit when the storefront is.
Reviewed against MyCustomBakes’ pricing, FAQ and help center on November 6, 2026. Confirm current terms before subscribing.
How much does MyCustomBakes cost?
MyCustomBakes is US$10/month or US$110/year, one plan with every feature. Every new subscription starts with a 30-day free trial, and its FAQ says the trial needs a credit card. It had a free tier from 2021 to 2024; that tier has ended. Confita is US$9.99/month or US$49/year after a 7-day free trial (checked November 6, 2026).
Does MyCustomBakes take a commission?
No. MyCustomBakes says it takes no percentage of your sales and charges no transaction fees. Card payments go through your own Square account, and Square’s processing rate goes to Square. Confita also adds 0% on your own Stripe or Square; Confita Payments, which needs neither account, is 3.9% + 30¢ all-in.
Is MyCustomBakes available outside the US?
Not yet. Its FAQ says it currently serves bakers in the United States, and its alternatives page says Canada is coming soon. Confita storefronts work in English and Spanish; card payments depend on Square or Stripe operating in your country, and in Mexico you can connect Stripe or take SPEI and OXXO Pay manually.
What is a MyCustomBakes alternative for Spanish orders?
Confita. Its storefronts, order flow and customer pages work in Spanish, and Mexico has its own plans in pesos. MyCustomBakes does not list a Spanish storefront on its public pages.
Does MyCustomBakes do recipe costing?
Not inside the plan. MyCustomBakes offers free web tools, including a recipe cost calculator and pricing calculators, and includes a weekly production planner with the subscription. Confita is not a recipe-costing system either; its free cake and bakery pricing calculators work without an account.
